State Grid Zhumadian Power Supply Company Work Safety Body Sense Training Center

The high-standard operation safety somatosensory training center of the State Grid Zhumadian Power Supply Company was built in January 2017, with an area of about 400 square meters. The area is divided into the prelude hall of the operation safety somatosensory training center and six training modules. The six training modules are respectively the safety warning corridor, the human body electrocution body sensation area, the step voltage somatosensory area, the personal safety protective equipment (PPE) somatosensory area, the safety tool comprehensive experience area, the virtual reality (VR) experience area, and the cardiopulmonary resuscitation somatosensory area.

Traditional safety training often passes through didactic training such as theoretical education and safety propaganda. For trainees, whether it is to master safety knowledge and safety awareness, it is very inadequate. Because the safety risks that grid company employees may encounter and contact in their daily work are relatively high and the harm is relatively large, so the grid company's safety training for employees cannot only stay on the traditional "theoretical training". On the basis of the "safety experience" proposed in recent years, it is necessary to build a deep immersive safety experience center that combines a variety of training methods such as "experience + feeling + practice + VR".

The work safety somatosensory training process transforms the traditional "lecture" into "experiential" training, emphasizing that the trainees are the center, combined with high-tech means such as sound, light, electricity, and VR, through simulating the occurrence of safety accidents such as electrical work, aerial work, and object strikes, so that the trainees can effectively combine "listen, see, and do" thinking and action in the process of watching, participating, and experiencing, so that they have a deeper understanding of the dangers and consequences of safety accidents, and improve their understanding of the importance of safety, so as to further enhance the trainees' safety awareness and safety skills.
