Immersive Fire Simulation System Debuts at the Yangtze River Delta International Emergency and Rescue Expo

The 2nd Yangtze River Delta International Emergency Disaster Reduction and Rescue Expo, themed "Promoting High-Level Safety and Safeguarding High-Quality Development," opened in Shanghai on May 8. The expo focuses on emergency management, disaster surveys, smart fire protection, emergency rescue, and smart cities, emphasizing "all types of disasters and comprehensive emergency response." Through exhibitions, conferences, forums, and other educational formats, it aims to promote the integrated development and transformation and upgrading of the safety and emergency response industry.


The company's latest R&D product, the "Immersive Simulation Fire Experience System," was showcased at the expo. This product, a "2021 Science and Technology Plan Project of the Fire and Rescue Bureau of the Ministry of Emergency Management," was jointly applied for by the Tianjin Fire Research Institute of the Ministry of Emergency Management, the Shanghai Fire and Rescue Corps, and Guangdong Nikola Energy Technology Co., Ltd. The project was completed in March 2023, and this is the product's first exhibition. The product features VR enhanced perception, micro-environment simulation, and real-time EEG and heart rate monitoring. The software content includes videos of natural disasters such as earthquakes, typhoons, and floods, as well as VR scenarios for fire fighting and escape drills in typical locations such as schools, homes, shopping malls, subways, and high-rise buildings.


This product features high innovation, strong interactivity, enhanced perception, and easy disassembly and transportation. It can solve the problems of existing VR fire protection products, such as the lack of scientific and systematic organization of fire fighting and escape knowledge, insufficient realism of experience scenarios, interactivity, intelligent perception, and lack of dynamic data monitoring and feedback. It will play a powerful role in comprehensively improving the public's ability to respond to fires in typical locations.


The system can be experienced not only through VR content, but also through video viewing combined with large led screens and projections. The system is configured with videos such as earthquakes, typhoons, floods, mudslides, ice disasters, and snow disasters, as well as scenarios such as home fire VR, high-rise fire escape VR, drowning accident VR, electric shock accident rescue VR, traffic safety VR, and campus safety VR. The research and development of this product not only enriches the company's emergency safety experience equipment product system, but also provides strong product support for the company to carry out emergency fire safety training.
