Nicola Awarded Certificate as Drafter of the Group Standard for VR Fire Training Systems

The "First Standardization Development Conference of China Fire Protection Association" sponsored by China Fire Protection Association and hosted by Henan Fire Protection Association was held at Zijingshan Hotel in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province on November 9, 2023.

At the meeting, 167 academic institutions of higher learning and firefighting enterprises, including Beijing University of Science and Technology, Zhengzhou Light Industry University, Beijing Aerospace Changxing Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd., Shenyang Meibao Control Co., Ltd., and Guangdong Nikola Energy Technology Co., Ltd., were awarded the standard editor-in-chief unit and participating unit certificate of the China Fire Protection Association, and 353 experts and scientific researchers were awarded the main drafter certificate.

Founded in 2016, Guangdong Nikola Energy Technology Co., Ltd. focuses on the R&D and application of virtual reality technologies such as augmented sensing technology, VR/MR, AI, etc. The company has a group of solid technology, R&D experience in software and hardware, and digital development team, with more than 100 patents and soft. The three science and technology projects of the State Administration of Fire Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Management were jointly declared as the drafting unit of the group standard of the China Fire Protection Association's "Virtual Reality Fire Safety Experience System Technical Standard" and the national standard of "Science Venue Virtual Reality Technology Display Mode and Equipment Use Technical Standard".

Since 2020, the company has carried out technical cooperation with a number of central enterprises, state-owned enterprises, and research institutions, jointly built VR/MR collaborative innovation centers, carried out industrial-university-research cooperation with a number of universities, and jointly built teaching courses and internship training bases. Together, we have explored VR/MR technology, digital twin technology, AI technology to enable the integration of production and education, virtual simulation training bases, and emergency safety bases.

The preparation of the "General Requirements for Virtual Reality Fire Training System" group standard is a reflection of Nikola's contribution to the development of industry standardization and standardization, and also highlights Nikola's professional advantages and industry leadership. In the future, our company will continue to participate in the improvement and optimization of industry standards, use strength to promote the construction of industry standards, and promote the high-quality development of the industry.
